BALANCE DISORDERS
(Vertigo/BPPV)
Balance is the ability for one to maintain the body’s center of gravity over its base of support. Normal balance is completed when the sensorimotor control systems, proprioception and the vestibular system are functioning normally. Aging, injuries, and disease, can effect the function of one or all of these systems leading to dizziness, loss of balance and/or falls.
